Sail to Normans Cay

Our sail to Normans Cay was calm and very enjoyable. About 30 miles from Staniel to Normans. We only have about a week left here in the Bahamas and want to make the best of our last stop. We chose Normans since it’s relatively unpopulated and quite beautiful. So as soon as the tide turned, we were off.

We chose to sail on the inside this time since the depths were good all the way up and our departure was down wind. We were not disappointed. The sail was calm and down wind the entire way. We had a great time taking some fun photos and just enjoying the day.

When we arrived at Normans we tacked into the anchorage in 6.5 ft of water. I think if we stopped healing over, we may have touched bottom. But, the wind held and we sailed right into deeper water and dropped the hook. We also hit 100,000 Subs on Youtube which for us is a pretty big deal.
