We spent a week here in Staniel Cay, so many amazing spots to visit and explore, all within a short dingy ride. We sailed in late in the afternoon and anchored just inside the cut. In the morning, we sailed a bit further in with the tide and anchored behind Thunderball Grotto. It’s like a compact sailors paradise. And it would seem by all the other boats here, that we’re not the only ones that think so. The anchorage and yacht club we’re quite crowded.
Each day was a new adventure, too many to write about all of them. We free dove, saved and old couple on a jetski, went on a long dingy ride and found some amazing tidal pools, fed the pigs and dove into the famous Thunderball Grotto. It rained, it was sunny, we did laundry and bought a few groceries, had an awesome jam session on our neighbours catamaran and practiced our breath holds under the boat. We even measured for our new sails. It was a crazy week in an amazing spot!
